Your students can send you their quiz scores by entering your TEACHER CODE in the web form.

To create your TEACHER CODE, log into eslvideo.com and go to My Account / Student Scores / Create Teacher Code.

Try it out -- Create a TEACHER CODE then take a quiz and send yourself the results.

To be able to send quizzes to your students, have them complete the JOIN A CLASS form.

The next time you log into your Account you'll see all of your students grouped by CLASS ID. You'll be able to readily email the students of a particular class.

1. How Do I Create a Class ID?

Teachers don't create Class IDs on eslvideo.com. Simply determine the Class ID for a particular class and ask them use that ID when filling out the Join a class form.

For example, if you teach 2 Listening/Speaking classes, one Class ID could be LS1 and the other LS2.

Ask your students to enter their Class ID when completing the Join a Class form, AND when sending you quiz scores.

2. Do Students have to fill out the "Join a Class" form to send me their quiz scores?

Nope -- they only need your Teacher Code to send you their quiz scores.

If your students fill out the Join a Class form you'll see the name and email address of each of your students listed on your Account / Classes page, and you'll be able to quickly and easily send them quizzes / links / content that relate to grammar or discussion topics covered in class.

At the end of the semester you can delete your Class with one click and all of your students' info will be removed from the database. (Note: ESLvideo.com will not email your students or keep your students' contact info.)

While Classroom Teachers find this functionality useful, Online Teachers already have their students' contact info and find the Join a Class form redundant -- They simply ask their students to enter the Teacher Code when sending quiz results.

Asking your students to fill out the Join a Class form simply provides a hassel-free way for you to quickly connect with your classes via email.
