Let's take you to Pacific Beach here. 8:40 in the morning. Definitely a cloudy start here to your weekend. So, it's gonna be a mix of sun and clouds there along the coast.
You know how we like it here in San Diego, perfect all the time. And boy, it is so warm. I was just at a school visit, and it is just so nice outside. I was driving around... I can't believe how green everything is. It's just so beautiful here in San Diego.
Let's take you outside to La Jolla. It is a little hazy out there. That marine layer kind of misty this morning from our Mount Soledad cam.
It is chilly this morning in many areas, but not all areas. So, 39 in El Cajon, cold. 34 in Ramona, cold. I mean even 46 in Kearny Mesa is cold.
Check out Coronado. This is a live look outside here. You know we saw that cloud cover within the last few hours has burned on off. And at 8:40 in the morning, lots of sunshine. And we're going to get lots more because it is going to be hot and humid. Right now our current conditions, we are at 80 already in Poway. (It's) not even 9 o'clock. Ramona...
Look at Oceanside. This is where the fog is. This is where the biggest impact is right now, in the Oceanside area.
Yeah, and speaking of sharing, those winds that we were seeing in the east county earlier, they're getting shared with everyone right now. I mean look at our La Jolla sky cam from Mount Solidad. I mean, it is just shaking around in the wind here. It is very windy for most areas.
I'm 10 News meteorologist Megan Parry, and it's raining outside of our station right now. And we have already seen some impressive rainfall totals. In just one hour yesterday Limburg Field picked up 1.3 inches of rain. Nearly three-quarters of that came within just nine minutes. That shatters a record set back a hundred and thirty-one years ago.
